Thrive Therapist Hike

Thrive Therapist Hikes are a space for therapists to step out of the role of holding others and into nature for a relaxed, grounding experience. Through gentle movement and conversation, we gather as people first, therapists second, alongside peers who understand the work.

Professional connections and local resources often emerge naturally, but the primary intention is not networking or self-promotion. This is simply an invitation to show up as you are and be held by nature and community.

Led by Thrive facilitators and licensed therapists, Tessa Magill and Becca Gasperoni, this hike offers a chance to get your heart pumping a bit while also using nature as a tool for relaxation, reflection, and reconnection. Along the trail, we’ll hold space for thoughtful conversation around the highs and heaviness of the work, self-compassion, and honoring yourself as a whole person.

What to Expect

• A moderate, guided hike at a steady, supportive pace

• Gentle prompts and connecting conversation along the trail

• Short pauses for reflection, breath, and mindful moments

• A seated group circle with scenic views

• A welcoming, relaxed container to connect and spend time together
