A weekend in the backcountry for high school aged girls! We will backpack a few miles to our campsite, enjoy a day in nature and spend time connecting with ourselves and each other through wellness discussions. $175 - All meals, gear and experiences included (scholarships available upon request)

About the Event
This is a unique opportunity to unplug from our regular lives and fully immerse in nature while focusing on our wellness. The facilitators will provide a supportive, educational and safe experience in the backcountry through their backgrounds in therapy, wilderness education and wilderness first aid training.
Participants will pack up all they need for one night away and we'll hike out to our campsite. There we will set up camp, spend some time relaxing/swimming and also enjoy group discussions throughout our time. Our aim is to provide light support around our wellness through group discussions, mindfulness activities and lessons in healthy coping. This experience is not therapy, but will feel supportive and therapeutic.
Through a grant from Ojai Women's Fund we have been able to purchase BACKPACKING GEAR FOR 7 YOUTH! So all you will need is a few of your own personal items and we provide the rest! Our hope is for all to feel welcome regardless of backpacking gear or experience.
